In this intensive 2-hour workshop, our parenting experts will share practical tips that will nurture your child’s self-confidence which will pave the way for healthy decision-making as the turbulent teen years approach.
Sexual health doesn’t start in Sex Ed. It starts at home. In PEN’s brand new workshop, facilitated by a parent coach and a sexual health educator, parents will build their capacity to talk about a variety of sexual health topics with children of any age. Participants will leave with tools and resources for continuing this courageous conversation at home.
Join us for one of our exciting new workshops in 2016! Learn to support your children as they develop as social beings. Help them meet the challenges of recess and find their comfortable place within their peer group.
Each age and stage of your child’s development is full of wonderful milestones and new challenges! This four week course will focus on tools and techniques to help you navigate those difficult times while fostering the development of self-discipline, responsibility, cooperation and problem-solving skills in your child. With ample time to discuss participants’ specific needs and challenges, this course will offer insight into a positive approach to discipline and address issues such as power struggles, effective communication, dealing with tantrums … and more! Appropriate for parents of elementary school-aged children.
